CROSS VINE (Bignonia capreolata) Average to moist soil. Deciduous vine with showy trumpet flowers in red with yellow centers. Eye-catching flowers. Grows in partial to full shade.

WOOLY DUTCHMAN'S PIPE (Aristolchia tomentosa) Evergreen vine with unique flowers. Butterfly attractor. Grows in full shade.

YELLOW JESSAMINE (Gelsemium sempervirens) Grows in average to moist soil. Evergreen vine with slightly fragrant yellow trumpet flowers in late winter - early spring. Also does well as ground cover. Grows in partial to full shade.
 FERNS
BOSTON FERN (Nephrolepis exaltata) Grows to 2 -4ft in height. Spreads quickly.
Evergreen fern for moist conditions.Use as ground cover. Good for erosion control on slopes. Grows in full shade.

CINNAMON FERN (Osmunda cinnamomea) Grows to maximum of 5ft. Requires a moist site. Evergreen large leafed fern with wooly cinnamon brown hairs. Grows in full shade.

ROYAL FERN (Osmunda regalis) Grows to maximum of 5ft. Requires moist site. Evergreen delicate shaped fronds. Excellent mixed with other ferns as ground cover. Grows in full shade.

FISHTAIL FERN (Nephrolepis biserrata) Grows to maximum 4ft. Requires moist site. Evergreen ground cover with fish tail shaped fronds. Spreads quickly.

 GROUND COVER
PEPEROMIA (Peperomia sp.) Grows to 8inches. Prefers an acid moist soil. Evergreen ground cover with a tropical look. It is brittle and will not tolerate foot traffic Cold tolerant. Grows in full shade.

INLAND SEA OATS (Chasmanthium latifolium) Grows to 3ft. Prefers moist sites. Dried seed heads good in floral decorations.
Grows in full shade.

WILD PLUMBAGO (Plumbago scandens) Grows to maximum 3ft. Hardy coastal ground cover with small white flowers throughout the year. Excellent butterfly attractor. Grows in partial to full shade.

PROSTRATE PETUNIA (Ruellia caroliniensis, sp) Grows to maximum 8 inches.
Evergreen ground cover with small purple flower most of the year. Spreads by seed. Grows in full shade.

SPIDERWORT (Tradescantia ohiensis) Grows to maximum 18 inches. Quickly spreading fast growing evergreen ground cover with either blue or white flowers.
Prefers moist site. Grows in full shade.

FLORIDA VOILET (Viola affinis & Viola primulifolia ) Grows to 6 inches. Prefers moist, acid soil. Spreads quickly by seed. Blue or white flowers in spring. Grows in full shade.

SCORPION TAIL (Heliotropium angiospermum) Grows to 2ft. Prefers wooded site. Good butterfly attractor. Long white terminal flowers. Grows in full shade.
