Rudbeckia hirta

Black-eyed Susan is a classic. It’s a fast-growing, perennial, reseeding, native wildflower that prefers an area of the garden that gets part shade in our area of South Florida. It can adapt to more sun as long as it’s getting ample well-drained but moist to average soils. Its showy yellow flowers have brown centers and attract numerous pollinators.
