Stachytarpheta sanguinea

This Florida-friendly, compact, evergreen shrub is a perfect addition to a sunny or partial shade landscape. The vibrant, red spikes of tubular flowers bloom year-round and are a magnet for pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Growing to just 2-3 feet tall and wide, it’s an excellent choice for borders, groundcovers, or container gardening. Dwarf Red Porterweed thrives in well-drained soil and tolerates drought once established.
