Evergreen, 15 ft, prunable, average to moist (well-drained) soils, adaptable, full sun to shade
Excellent hedge, buffer shrub or small tree with aromatic leaves and flowers. Great in tight spaces.
Salt tolerant - can take storm surge and salt spray/wind - hardy for hurricanes
Profusion of attractive flowers peak in summer, followed by dark berries that are relished by birds.
Bees and other pollinators love the blooms and birds and mammals use the dense foliage for cover.
