This low-growing wildflower is slow growing but is great to utilize in filling in near pathways, underneath trees & shrubs, and in a mixed wildflower bed. It will bloom prolifically in late summer with numerous deep yellow flowers taking up most of the space on the stems. Native pollinators love this wildflower, especially unique bees.

  • Full sun to part shade, dry to average well-draining soils, adaptable to different conditions

  • Tolerant of salty wind

  • Small, numerous flowers from summer until late winter that attract a variety of rare native bees

  • Small seed heads are sought out by seed-eating birds like cardinals and finches
